WPP’s Nidhee Kekre Joins Whisper Media’s Advisory Board

After being associated with WPP network across different roles and companies including Kantar, GroupM and WPP Unilever for seven years, Nidhee Kekre has now been appointed to the advisory board of one of India’s leading tech-driven media company- Whisper Media.

Of the last seven years she was associated with WPP, she served the role of Lead- WPP Unilever Team (South Asia) for over five years between February 2019 and February 2024.

During this time, she was responsible for driving a business spanning 15 agencies in the WPP network with a 12% CAGR through demonstrating extensive management experience as well as overseeing the business-critical projects delivered to the HUL executive leadership that had an impact on client business amongst other things.

Prior to that, she was associated with WPP’s media investment arm, GroupM, for close to two years in the capacity of Partner- Business Strategy and Development from March 2017 to January 2019.

Before joining the WPP network, Kekre also worked as Business Head- Shared Services at JetAir for a period of two-and-a-half years, starting August 2014, and India Sales- Spend Management, HRSS and F&A at Essar Global Shared Services from March 2013 to August 2014.

In the past, she was also associated with various companies including Effort BPO, Godrej Upstream and RFPL.

Having managed diverse client portfolios across sectors such as FMCG, BFSI, Telecom and Consumer Goods, Whisper Media believes that she is poised to play a pivotal role in steering it towards new avenues of growth and innovation.
