How We Choose Our Winners
We strive to recognise products that are revolutionising the beauty industry—products that boast premium ingredients and deliver exceptional results. Every winner undergoes extensive testing and evaluation by our editors and/or esteemed beauty advisors, who personally experience their benefits. Each product is meticulously scrutinised through rigorous trials, guaranteeing that our reviews are transparent and authentic.
Beauty Awards categories include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Make-up (foundation, skin tint, concealer, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, brow product, lash product, eyeshadow, blush, lip liner, contour product, primer, setting mist, brow serum)
- Skincare (dark spot treatment, retinol, moisturiser, exfoliator, chemical SPF, lip treatment, eye treatment, mineral SPF, cleanser, toner, mask, acne treatment, serum, face scrub, peel, tool, face mist, balm cleanser, acne patch)
- Hair care & tools (strengthening shampoo & conditioner, curl shampoo & conditioner, hair rinse, dandruff shampoo, dry shampoo, hairspray, blowout balm, serum, curl cream, scalp treatment, hair oil, hair mask, detangling brush, styling product, tools, dryer, straightener, hair loss treatment, best colour)
- Body (body oil, acne treatment, bath soak, all-purpose balm, body lotion, post-workout treatment, antiperspirant, sensitive-skin body wash, scrub, razor, body wash, sunscreen, hair removal cream, bar soap, after-sun protection)
Women’s Health Beauty Awards Submission Guidelines
- Please mark all submissions as ‘Beauty Awards 2024’.
- All products must be available and shopable by the time of publication, September 2024.
- Please limit submissions to three items per brand.
- Samples must be available for testing no later than 1 June 2024.
How To Submit
Submit all products via this online form. Please fill out one form per product. (If you’d like to submit three products, you should fill out three separate forms.) Once you fill in the form, please send the products to either our Cape Town or Johannesburg team for review. The deadline for submissions is 1 June 2024.
