Deals:  Samsung Galaxy S24 and Tab S9 FE prices drop, M3-powered MacBooks get cheaper too

[ad_1]

The prices of the Samsung Galaxy S24 trio are starting to fall, with discounts ranging from $75 off for the small one to $200 off for the Ultra. These phones will be supported for 7 years (both OS updates and security patches), so by getting it a few months after launch you’re not missing out on much.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra gets the best discount, $200 off the 256GB and 512GB variants.

This year the Galaxy S24+ was upgraded to 12GB of RAM to match the Ultra (also, the display went up to QHD+ resolution). This one is $150 off for the 256GB and 512GB options.

Amazon doesn’t have an offer for the vanilla Galaxy S24, but Best Buy does. The discount is only $75, so the difference between an 8/256GB S24 and a 12/256GB S24+ isn’t huge. But if you want a small Android flagship, you don’t have too many options. Best Buy has the S24+ and S24 Ultra at the same prices as Amazon, by the way.

A couple of weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE (Wi-Fi) was $350 for the base 6/128GB unit and $420 for the preferable 8/256GB variant. The 128GB tablet is the same price now, but the 256GB one is down to $380, which makes the upgrade a no-brainer – even if you add more storage via the microSD slot, you can’t add more RAM.

The larger Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ was $500 and $600 for the 8/128GB and 12/256GB models, respectively. Now both are cheaper, including the 128GB version. Note that the 256GB one still has more RAM, but you can make do with 8GB.

Finally, some M3-powered MacBooks. The MacBook Air 13” is 10% off at Amazon, compared to its Apple.com price. Note that this one has the base version of the M3 chip with 8 GPU cores.

The Apple MacBook 14.2” has a similar discount and it gets the better Apple M3 chip, the one with 10 GPU cores (both have 8 CPU cores).

You can go even larger with the Apple MacBook Pro 16.2”, this one with an M3 Pro chip – 12 CPU cores and 18 GPU cores. You get more RAM and storage too, though the price climbs over $2,000.
