The wait is over – the 2024 Telkom Netball League (TNL) is set to get underway at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg. With its inaugural power week from 26 April – 5 May 2024, followed by a series of electrifying matches running through May and June, the TNL promises a spectacle of athleticism, sportsmanship and unparalleled talent.
Since it first started in 2014, the Telkom Netball League has been the heartbeat of South African netball. It’s where we’ve seen amazing players shine, not just here at home, but on the global stage too. Thanks to Telkom’s sponsorship since 2019, the TNL has become South Africa’s top semi-pro netball event. It’s the perfect stage for up-and-coming stars to strut their stuff, catch the attention of scouts and dream big about wearing that iconic green and gold of the SPAR Proteas.
New Season, New Team
And guess what? This year, they’re adding a new team to the mix! Say hello to Tshukudu from North-West province, making it a total of 16 teams from all nine provinces. The reigning champs, the Gauteng Jaguars, are all set to defend their crown against some seriously tough competition, including the Free State Crinums who are bringing their A-game.

Empowering Women In Sports
