Honoring the Rhythms and Cycles of Life

[ad_1]

All of life is cyclical.

The tides go in and out in a perfect rhythm, just as the moon waxes and wanes across the starry night sky.

I love witnessing the cycles of the seasons in the Earth and how beautifully they unfold throughout the Wheel of the Year – the Earth inhales in the Autumn and Winter, and then exhales again in the Spring and into Summer.

The dance of life unfolds in a beautiful cycle of expansion and contraction, ebbs and flows, breathing in and breathing out – in perfect divine coherence and order.

So naturally, as humans we too have natural cycles, ebbs and flows in our lives.

Joyful expansion gives way to quiet introspection, flurries of activity are balanced out with moments for retreat and stillness.

Death makes way for birth. Darkness makes way for light.

Trust the turning, trust the timing, trust the becoming. The same life force that pulses through the cosmos flows within you.

Trust in the wisdom of Life.

With the increased solar activity recently, and the powerful waves of cosmic energy continuing to pour in, many are noticing shifting and changing energy levels. Some people may find they’re sleeping more, some less, some energized, some tired, and everything between.

Awareness is key.

Where are you in the natural rhythm of life now?

The ebb and flow is natural, and sometimes you’ll feel vibrant and engaged, and other times quiet and introspective.

The cycles we journey through mimic the dance of the cosmos itself.

Don’t judge the changing seasons within you. There is purpose in both the energetic expansiveness and the thoughtful times of quiet, inner stillness and relative lull.

Honor your unique journey.

When you feel socially connected and alive, embrace it fully! Share your light, create, and participate. But when you need retreat, be just as kind to yourself as you rest, recharge, and inquire within.

Even the mightiest rivers sometimes flow gently.

Your body also cycles through highs and lows – honor its wisdom.

Each phase is temporary, so breathe and know that you are on your soul path, however it may wind and bend.

Celebrate both the active and restful seasons, for they are the pulse of sacred life moving through you.

As the cycles and rhythms of life continue, let love guide and inspire you.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

With love and gratitude,
